Laurie provides taxation services to a variety of clients including corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, and individuals. As a senior auditor, she also performs financial statement audits, reviews and compilations for corporations, employee benefit plans and non-profit organizations. Laurie joined Nasif, Hicks, Harris & Co., LLP in 2007.
Prior to her career in public accounting, Laurie worked in the information technology sector for over ten years, primarily as a project manager and instructor. Laurie then spent four years obtaining her teaching credential and teaching in public schools, obtaining her Masters of Education degree from the University of La Verne in 2004
Laurie graduated in 2002 from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Laurie has also been a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) since 2009.
