We are currently searching for staff, senior accountants, and managers to take on the following responsibilities.
STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, accountable client services in a timely manner.
- Work on a variety of tax, audit, accounting, and special projects. Work should be clerically accurate; issues should be identified, researched, and discussed with colleagues and supervisors.
- Take responsibility for projects keeping supervisors informed about issues, problems and expected completion dates.
- Learn to develop and implement comprehensive, creative, and economically viable tax planning and business solutions for clients.
- Master basic accounting, audit, tax preparation, and research skills.
Requirements:
- Current employment in accounting or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a business-related field. Masters degree a plus.
- Desire to pursue applicable professional development and certification(s).
- Demonstrated technical expertise in related field.
- Proficient knowledge of automated tax processing systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ambitious and willing to take on increasing responsibilities within the firm.
- Knowledge of Santa Barbara/Ventura County community a plus.
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, accountable client services in a timely manner.
- Complete a variety of tax, audit, accounting, and special projects with minimal supervision.
- Work should be clerically accurate; issues should be identified, researched, and discussed with colleagues and supervisors.
- Take responsibility for projects keeping supervisors informed about issues, problems, and expected completion dates.
- Develop and implement comprehensive, creative, and economically viable tax planning and business solutions for clients. Learn to integrate corporate (or other entity), personal, retirement, estate, foreign income, and investment planning issues.
- Supervise and train staff accountants.
- Learn to act as strategic advisor to clients and maintain solid client relationships. Create new business through existing client relationships and proactive networking within professional community.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years CPA firm experience.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a business-related field. Masters degree a plus.
- Desire to pursue applicable professional development and certification(s).
- Demonstrated technical expertise in related field.

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, accountable client services in a timely manner.
- Provide comprehensive, creative, and economically viable tax planning and business solutions to clients, integrating corporate (or other entity), personal, retirement, estate, foreign income, and investment planning issues.
- Keep clients abreast of current business and economic developments, opportunities and potential pitfalls relevant to their business and industry.
- Act as strategic advisor to clients and maintain solid client relationships.
- Work with business managers to develop and refine business plans including financial projections.
- Create new business through existing client relationships and proactive networking within professional community.
Requirements:
- 5 years CPA firm experience required.
- CPA certificate.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a business-related field. Masters degree a plus.
- Desire to pursue applicable professional development and certification(s).
- Demonstrated technical expertise in related field.
- Proficient knowledge of automated tax processing systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Management experience preferred.
